Semua 20 ahli parlimen Pemuda BN membuat ikrar taat setia akan terus bersama parti itu dan tidak akan mengkhianati parti itu dan jauh sekali menyertai mana-mana parti lain.



Ikrar taat setia itu dibacakan oleh ahli parlimen Petrajaya, Fadillah Yusof yang juga timbalan menteri sains, teknologi dan innovasi dalam sidang akhbar di Permatang Pauh hari ini.



Selain Fadillah, mereka yang hadir di majlis tersebut termasuklah ketua Pemuda BN Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (Sembrong), Razali Ibrahim (Muar), Datuk Shamsul Anuar Nasarah (Lenggong), Mohd Nizar Zakaria (Parit), Datuk Idris Haron (Tangga Batu), Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing (Bintulu) dan Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (Kota Belud).


Ahli-ahli parlimen Pemuda yang turut menyatakan taat setia mereka ialah Khairy Jamaluddin (Rembau), Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir (Jerlun), Raimie Unggi (Tenom), Salleh Kalbi (Silam), Datuk Liow Tiong Lai (Bentong) dan Dr Wee Ka Siong (Ayer Hitam).


Turut berbuat demikian ialah Hou Kok Chung (Kluang), Wee Jeck Seng (Tanjong Piai), Liang Teck Meng (Simpang Renggam), Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman (Kota Samarahan), Hasbi Habibollah (Limbang/Bukit Mas) dan Chua Tee Yong (Labis).


Hishammuddin terus menunjukkan borang taat setia yang telah ditandatangani oleh ahli-ahli parlimen terbabit.



"Semua ahli parlimen Pemuda BN membuat ikrar sebegini rupa dan jika ada yang kata kami akan melompat parti, ia adalah kelentong semata-mata," kata Fadillah.



Bercakap dalam sidang akhbar tersebut, Hishammuddin berkata, taat setia ini dibuat sebagai inisiatif awal bagi mengelak desas-desus mengenai ahli parlimen BN melompat parti dimanipulasi.



Katanya, adalah mustahil pembangkang untuk mendapat seorang pun ahli parlimen Pemuda BN.

Gan Tack Guan And Abdul Razak Baginda are not the only ones suspicious about Mongolia’s Honorary Counsul for Malaysia (Bernama).

Gan is Peace Hill’s Malaysian Interpol Assistant Director (what a mouthful of words for a position) and the consul Syed Abdul Rahmah Al- Habshi is a glamour seeker in the Altantuya Shariibuu trial.

He often speaks for Altantuya’s dad, Stev Shariibuu, arranges his stay when the former comes for the trial, and watches over him like a hawk. Except for the last time, when Shariibuu managed to escape his watchful eyes and met with Opposition and supporters (outside the police force) like Raja Petra Kamaruddin.

Yes, what is this man’s status in Mongolia as well as Malaysia? Bernama did not state why the lawyer for Abdul Razak Baginda questioned Gan about this man’s background?

It is not clear whether he has an office in Kuala Lumpur, or Mongolia, or in Bangkok?

Gan had gone to Mongolia to conduct a DNA test on Altantuya’s youngest son, and later newspapers reveal that her son was not Abdul Razak Baginda’s. The report quoted ‘police sources’. Does Gan know about this?

I was highly suspicious about the report as his team did not conduct any test on the small boy.

The forensic experts from Malaysia visited my home in Ulaanbataar on 14 March 2007, they saw my grandson but did not take his blood samples. Instead they took blood samples from my wife (Shariibuu)

This was not the only confusion. Abdul Rahman told the press that Shariibuu had been informed of the forensic team visiting him in Mongolia but Shariibuu denied being told when and was not given much details of his visitors. Read more here.

Also, earlier Abdul Rahman was very eager to break the news of the forensic team’s visit to Ulanbataar, when Shariibuu was told to keep the matter under wraps. A mere case of publicity craze or….?

The counsul also often puts words in Shariibuu’s mouth, for example, telling the press that the latter was satisfied with the trial, when in fact the man was fuming that the trial was postponed yet again.

He gave Altantuya’s photos to Asia Sentinel. The series of photos show Altantuya posing in various places in Paris. What does he want these photos to show? That she was there - in the city where the signing of a certain deal took place?

Who is this man working for?

I am not sure but I would be glad to know what is the consul’s role in the Altantuya trials?

Najib Swears In Guar Perahu Mosque He Did Not Know Or Had Connection With Altantuya


BUKIT MERTAJAM, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Friday night swore in Masjid Jamek Guar Perahu near here that he did not know or had any connection with Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaarribuu who was murdered in 2006 in Puncak Alam, Selangor.

Najib said he was making the swearing although it was not an offical swearing made on the Quran.

"Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi (With Allah as my witness) I swear I do not know or have any connection with the Mongolian woman," he said at the end of his speech at a ceremony to give aid of RM1.4 million at the mosque.

The aid is to repair, renovate and buy new equipment for eight mosques and 20 surau in the state constituency of Penanti.

"I do not know if others want to swear or not but I know I did no wrong. This is between me and God," he said.

Najib also made the same swearing by repeating the same words when he visited the Barisan Nasional (BN) operations room in Guar Perahu.

Meawnhile, Mongolia's honorary consul in Malaysia, Datuk Syed Abdul Rahman Al-Habshi who also present, said: "Datuk Seri Najib's swearing is true and it is accepted that he has no connection with Altantuya."

Syed Abdul Rahman said when the murder happened he was the first Malaysian who knew of it and he was also the first to go to Mongolia to go over Altantuya's documents.

"Not one document, photograph or video involved Najib," he said.

Syed Abdul Rahman said Parti Keadilan Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia Today webmaster Raja Petra Kamaruddin and private investigator P Balasubramaniam had created a big lie.

"I regret they feel they know more about the case. Anwar lied that he met Altantuya's father in Mongolia. At that time I knew Anwar was coming and took her father (Dr Shaarriibuu Setev) to Russia," he said.

"No one knows more than me and Anwar had lied with several accusations against Najib," Syed Abdul Rahman said.

He said the reason he was present at the function was to clarify the confusion as Anwar's actions could affect the good relations between Malaysia and Mongolia and that he had been directed by Mongolia's Prime Minister Sanjaa Bayar to assist.

Syed Abdul Rahman said after he was appointed by the Mongolian prime minister to investigate the murder of Altantuya, he discovered that Najib had nothing to do with the case.

He said he felt responsible to clarify the matter as if he kept quiet "the people will be more confused as more lies will be made and I feel ashamed that a national leader's name who has no connection with the case has been tarnished by Anwar and Raja Petra."

"It is very shameful when our national leader's name is tarnished abroad as being involved in the case and that is why I have to clarify to the public about the lies that have been made," he said.

Anwar at each rally in campaigning for the Permatang Pauh by-election has been alleging Najib had links to Altantuya.

On July 3, at a news conference in Petaling Jaya chaired by Anwar, Balasubramaniam produced a statutory declaration that alleged Najib had sexual relations with Altantuya but the next day retracted it and subsequently went missing together with his family.

Raja Petra posted articles on his website alleging Najib was connected to her murder and he (Raja Petra) has since been charged in court for it.

The Altantuya murder hearing is ongoing at the Shah Alam High Court.

Najib also said Anwar's pledge to reduce fuel prices if he became prime minister was mere empty talk.

"That is the way he conducts politics...making all kinds of claims. But today the BN government delivered on this," he said.

Effective Saturday, the price of petrol (RON97) will be reduced by 15 sen to RM2.55 a litre from RM2.70, RON92 by 22 sen to RM2.40 a litre from RM2.62 and diesel by eight sen a litre to RM2.50 from RM2.58.

Ketika menghampiri hari pengundian kempen pilihan raya kecil kerusi Parlimen Permatang Pauh semakin rancak dengan perkembangan terbaru, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak bersumpah di Masjid Jamek Guar Perahu dekat sini malam tadi bahawa beliau tidak kenal dan tidak ada kaitan dengan wanita Mongolia, Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Timbalan Perdana Menteri itu berkata:

“Walaupun ini bukan sumpah rasmi yang dibuat atas al-Quran. Dengan nama Allah, Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi, saya tidak kenal dan tidak ada kaitan dengan perempuan Mongolia. Saya tidak tahu sama ada orang lain nak bersumpah atau tidak, tapi saya tahu saya tak buat salah. Ini antara saya dengan Tuhan.”

Selain ucapan bersumpah itu, yang turut mengejutkan banyak pihak ialah ucapan Konsul Mongolia di Malaysia, Datuk Syed Abdul Rahman yang berucap kira-kira 10 minit ketika Najib turut melawat Bilik Gerakan Barisan Nasional (BN) di Guar Perahu.

Pagi ini saya menerima sms kata dua Exco Perak ditangkap, mungkin ramai yang terkejut? tapi tidak pada saya. saya bukan tidak terkejut oleh kerana sudah mengetahui mereka ini memang kaki rasuah tetapi saya mengetahui Pengarah BPR itu memang kuat Umnonya dan menjadi barua kepada UMNO. Ibunya bekas ketua cawangan Umno, manakala Idolanya adalah Rafidah Aziz. Dalam temuramah mingguan Malaysia 11 febuari 2007. katanya Pengarah BPR ini , rafidah Aziz ini memang contoh terbaik bagi wanita. Sebagai pegawai tinggi BPR apakah Shamsiah ini tidak tahu yang Rafidah itu sudah disabitkan rasuah oleh BPR .

Cuma dokumennya tidak dimajukan untuk tindakan, serupalah bekas pengarah BPR yang diberhentikan tetapi tidak didakwa. Mereka ini memang barua UMNO, termauklah ketua pengarah BPR sekarang yang muka panjang tetapi akal pendek, pantas membuka siasatan terhadap Yong Teck Lee atas arahan Umno untuk mengugut agar tidak melompat parti. BPR sekarang bekerja untuk UMNO, sudah tentu BPR Perak kini bekerja untuk Umno sebagai sebahagian jentera kempen untuk pilihanraya Permatang pauh. masakan tidak ramlang Porigi yang menjadi ahli pemuda Umno permatang Pauh tiba tiba boleh jadi Imam Masjid Wilayah persekutuan.yang mendengar sumpah Saiful Bukhari. ini semua jentera Kerajaan yang digunakan untuk kempen UMNO.

Saya pernah menulis sebelum ini bagaimana BPR Perak bersengkongkol dengan Cina Kelab Malam dan Pemimpin Umno memerangkap Ketua Hakim Mahkamah Syariah dengan dakwaan Rasuah, tuduhannya mudah, katanya Hakim terima RM 4ribu untuk bebaskan GRO? buktinya hanya duit masuk dalam Akaun si hakim ini, apa susahnya mana mana ATM bank boleh kita Bank In duit cuma perlu tahu No Akaunnya, katanya hakim ini masih dikuarantin dibagunan SUK Perak. pada sebelum itu jabatan Agama Islam hebat menjalankan pembersihan orang melayu yang melacurkan tubuh dalam industri ini. akibat serangan yang tidak henti henti perangkap telah dibuat? siapa dalangnya? ia didalangi pemimpin UMNO yang menjadi rakan kongsi kelab kelab malam dan karoeke di sekitar IPOH. mereka mendapat lesen hiburan hanya dengan Cop dari pejabat Istana Raja Kecil Besar untuk memohon apa apa permit, Raja Kecil Besar adalah keturunan Sultan Idris, atas sebab itu Sultan Perak menarik keistimewaan Raja Kecil Besar pada tahun lepas atas banyak sebab yang umum tidak mengetahui.

apa yang lebih menarik sejurus Hakim ini didakwa dan ditangkap oleh BPR, tuntutan fasakh isteri ketua bhagian Umno Ipoh Timur Hamzah Zainuddin yang kini timbalan Mneteri Perumahan sebanyak 11juta ditarik balik oleh Mahkamah Rayuan Syariah, sudah pastilah tuntutan itu boleh dibatalkan kerana Pemimpin Umno ini berjaya merosakkan kredebiliti Hakim mahkmah Syariah Perak, dan penghakiman nya dahulu untuk tuntutan 11juta terhadap hartanya dulu sudah boleh diragui, pandai atau tidak pemimpin UMNO ini bermain wayang dengan BPR perak yang pengarahnya seorang penyokong kuat UMNO.

jadi apa yang perlu Pengarah BPR juga harus disiasat. Hamzah Zainudin juga antara nama Konspirator dakwaan liwat tahun 1998, dan yang terlibat secara langsung adalah isterinya sendiri. bayangkan jika tuntutan fasakh 11juta.. berapa hartanya yang sebenar, apakah Pengarah BPR Perak yang kuat Umnonya mahu siasat? pesanan saya kepada Pengarah BPR Perak jangan buat kerja kempen UMNO menjelang Pilihanraya kecil.

Confirmed: An Idiot Working under a barua

Imam diarah hadir sumpah Saiful

Imam Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, Ramlang Porigi, menjelaskan beliau telah diarahkan hadir di majlis sumpah laknat oleh Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan pada 15 Ogos lalu, yang mendakwa diliwat oleh Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Dihubungi Malaysiakini hari ini, Ramlang menafikan sebarang dakwaan yang beliau mempunyai apa-apa niat tertentu apabila hadir di majlis tersebut Jumaat lepas.

Beliau bagaimanapun enggan menyatakan lebih lanjut apabila ditanya siapakah mengarahkannya berbuat demikian.

Dilaporkan turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan, Datuk Che Mat Che Ali.
Sebaliknya, kata Ramlang, beliau berada di masjid pada hari berkenaan kerana bertugas sebagai jurunikah pada hari berkenaan.

Beliau menjelaskan demikian ketika diminta mengulas penyebaran emel yang mendedahkan bahawa beliau adalah seorang ahli Umno dan seorang pengundi di Parlimen Permatang Pauh.

Emel tersebut juga mengandungi dua lampiran yang menyebut bahawa Ramlang menganggotai Umno cawangan Seri Machang, dalam Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Machang Bubuk, bahagian Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang.

'Memang ahli Umno'

Turut dilampirkan ialah maklumat mengenai pendaftarannya sebagai pengundi parlimen Permatang Pauh - pilihanraya kecil kerusi ini akan diadakan 26 Ogos.

Ramlang juga mengesahkan bahawa beliau seorang daripada lebih 58,000 pengundi di situ.

Ketika ditanya mengenai keanggotaannya dalam Umno, Ramlang berkata: "Saya pernah mendaftar sebagai ahli pada 2003, atas sebab-sebab tertentu". Beliau enggan mengulas lanjut apabila ditanya maksudnya "atas sebab-sebab tertentu".

Bagaimanapun, Ramlang berkata, beliau bukan seorang ahli aktif dan tidak memegang apa-apa jawatan dalam Umno di sebarang peringkat.

Mengulas lanjut mengenai majlis bersumpah Mohd Saiful, Ramlang berkata, beliau bukannya menjadi saksi sumpah Saiful.

"Apabila kebetulan Saiful tersalah sebut lafaz sumpahnya, oleh kerana saya berada di situ, jadi saya tegurlah," katanya.

Tiada kaitan

Oleh itu, beliau memperjelaskan bahawa beliau tidak ada sebarang kaitan dengan sumpah Saiful, yang diadakan sehari sebelum penamaan calon pilihanraya kecil Parlimen Permatang Pauh.

Anwar adalah antara tiga calon yang bertanding dalam pilihanraya tersebut. Dua lagi adalah calon Barisan Nasional (BN), Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah dan Hanafi Hamat dari Angkatan Keadilan Insan Malaysia (Akim).

Menurutnya, beliau salah seorang daripada sembilan imam yang bertugas di masjid berkenaan sejak Jun 2005.

Mengulas dakwaan dalam emel tersebut yang mengatakan beliau adalah seorang bilal dan bukan imam di masjid tersebut, Ramlang berkata: "Saya memang seorang imam (di masjid tersebut)".

Katanya, jawatan rasminya ialah pembantu hal ehwal Islam di bawah gred S17.

Jika bilal, kata Ramlang, diletakkan di bawah gred S11 dengan nama jawatan pembantu rendah hal ehwal Islam.

Iman Saksi Sumpah Saiful,
Pengundi Berdaftar Permatang Pauh!

Memang sah dah, puak-puak ni bukan bantu Saiful buat "sumpah laknat" tapi mereka sendiri akan dilaknat Allah nanti. Semakin sensasi dan semakin panas cerita liwat budak Saiful "mangkuk hayun" ini. Orang sibuk-sibuk duduk kempen pilihanraya kecil Permatang Pauh. Masa itu juga diambil kesempatan untuk buat cerita-cerita "katun" yang cukup melucukan. Kabarnya Saiful sekarang ini sedang sibuk mengatur strategi untuk menyerang Anwar di Permatang Pauh. Kesian benar melihat gelagat anak muda ini. Jika dulu kelibatnya hanya bersendirian dan ditemani oleh Peguamnya, terkadang bapa suadaranya Uncle Sam. Namun kini Saiful seolah-olah mendapat suntikan semangat luar biasa dari keluarganya pula. Maklumlah sumpah laknat ditujukan juga buat keluarga dan keturunannya sehingga hari kiamat. Maka, mahu atau tidak keluarganya kini harus memberi sokongan tanpa berbelah bahagi kepada Saiful. Apa yang penting mesti ada "masyuk"....mungkin semakan akaun beliau akan bertambah lagi selepas ini daripada apa yang kita siasat RM300,000 selepas beliau buat "sumpah laknat" baru-baru ini.

Apapun yang terjadi, namun senjata Saiful nampaknya semakin ampuh dan bakal "memakan tuannya sendiri" tidak lama lagi. Bukan sahaja penyokong Anwar yang meluat dengan cerita "raja lawak" saiful ini, malahan semasa berada di ceramah UMNO baru-baru ini ramai juga yang sudah berbunyi mereka malu dengan akuan sumpah dan "kes liwat" terbaru itu. Amat tidak logik seorang mangsa boleh membuat kenyataan yang berbelit-belit. Apa tidaknya, sekejap kata kena lapan kali sekejap kata sekali. sekejap kata dipaksa, sekejap kata suka sama suka, kemudian kembali kata dipaksa setelah mahkamah membuat dakwaan terhadap Anwar. Bukankah Saiful ini "putar alam" dan boleh dituduh atas kesalahan "menghina mahmakah" sebenarnya. Tapi kenapa undang-undang memihak kepadanya!!.

aCucu pernah katakan dulu, kes liwat Saiful ini sebenarnya semakin hari semakin bercelaru dan semakin haru biru. Semakin beliau membuat kenyataan tentang perkara ini, maka semakin banyak bukti-bukti diperolehi. Terbaru, ialah perihal individu yang dikatakan "Imam Masjid Wilayah" iaitu Ramlang Porigi. Beliau lah yang telah menjadi saksi sumpah mubahalah Saiful baru-baru ini. Sebelum ini Cucu pernah berkata pada isteri Cucu, bahawa muka Tok Iman ini nampak macam sedikit "pucat dan gelabah". Bak kata orang macamlah dia tu nak dinikahkan oleh Tok Kadi. Lihat sahaja gambar disebelah. Bukankah gaya serta "raut dan lirik matanya" menampakkan beliau seolah-olah dalam ketakutan yang teramat sangat. Sangkaan Cucu, mungkinkah beliau dipaksa atau terpaksa, sama maca Saiful agaknya. Mana mungin beliau "suka sama suka" untuk menjadi saksi sumpah "laknat" budak Saiful ini kalau dia betul-betul mempunyai latar belakang agama yang kukuh. Beliau mungkin akan tahu yang dirinya juga akan dilaknat Allah seandainya beliau bersaksi palsu.

Sudah suratan takdir, akhirnya kebenaran terserlah jua akhirnya. Bernarlah telahan semua pihak selama ini bahawa Ramlang Porigi bukanlah Iman sebenar Masjid Wilayah dan beliau hanya Pembantu Hal Ehwal Islam cawangan Sumber Ilmu Dan Maklumat di masjid berkenaan (terkadang menjadi Imam Rawatib). Maka, kemana hilangnya Imam yang "original'?. Jawapannya cukup mudah, mereka semua tidak mahu bersekongkol dengan "manusia durjana" yang cuba membuat "sumpah palsu" untuk menfirnat orang lain. Mereka juga tahu akan balasan yang bakal diterima di akhirat kelak, andainya melakukan perbuatan terkutuk itu. Maka itulah, jalan terbaik ialah puak-puak ini perlu "membeli" seseorang untuk dijadikan "Imam celup" bagi melengkapkan lagi akuan "sumpah laknat" si Saiful itu. Maka, akhirnya Ramlang Porigi telah dipilih setelah perundingan dibuat. Beliau tidak perlu berkata apa-apa semasa acara itu berlangsung. Sekadar memakai pakaian "Imam" dan duduk disitu sebagai "saksi laknat" Saiful. Maka itulah Ramlam Porigi kelihatan pucat lesi dan agak gelabah. Matanya kelihatan macam orang bersalah, namun dek kerara mungkin beliau digertak dan dijanjikan habuan "duniawi" yang agak lumayan maka itulah beliau setuju. Ramai juga yang mempertikaikan kenapa Saiful buat sumpah bukan dihadapan ulamak dan hanya seorang "Imam celup" seperti Ramlang Porigi ini. Lebih mengejutkan lagi, acara itu dibuat tergesa-gesa sehari sebelum hari pencalonan parlimen Permatang Pauh yang menyaksikan Anwar Ibrahim bertanding disitu. Itu pun budak Saiful masih mengatakan kesnya itu bukanlah kes politik tapi masalah peribadi masing-masing. "Hotak" hanglah !!

Siasatan telah dibuat tentang siapakah Ramlang Porigi yang sebenarnya. Maka sungguh terkejut dan amat memeranjatkan kita bila didapati beliau adalah ahli UMNO sebenarnya. Bukan sahaja ahli UMNO, malahan juga beliau adalah pengundi berdaftar Parlimen Permatang Pauh untuk DUN Penanti. Sungguh gempar dan amat memeranjatkan !! Bagaimana ini boleh terjadi?. Patutlah beliau sanggup menjadi "Imam celup" sebagai saksi kepada majlis "sumpah laknat" Saiful baru-baru ini. Rupa-rupanya dia ada "connection" dengan puak-puak UMNO Permatang Pauh. Apakah lantikan beliau sebagai "Imam" dibuat oleh Bekas Imam Besar Masjid Negara Pirdaus Ismail?. Mungkin juga agaknya, sebab Imam Pirdaus adalah merupakan calon BN yang sudah dua kali tewas ditangan Datuk Seri Dr.Wan Azizah Ismail di kawasan itu dulu. Sungguh hinanya tugas yang diamanahkan kepada kedua-dua Imam ini. Tunggulah "laknat" Allah suatu hari nanti. Biar mereka sedar bahawa hidup di dunia ini hanya sementara, dan balasan Allah akan menanti di akhirat kelak. Sungguh kurang ajar !! Lebih menyeronokkan kes ini ialah Tok Iman yang menjadi sumpah Saiful juga rupa-rupanya adalah pengundi berdaftar di Permatang Pauh. Bukti jelas bahawa Imam Mangkuk Ramlang ini adalah orang kanan Imam Pirdaus di Permatang Pauh. Dengan pembongkaran ini juga, maka sudah tidak syak lagi semua yang berlaku terhadap Anwar ini adalah perancangan jahat puak-puak UMNO yang gusar akan kebangkitan semula mantan TPM itu. Mereka hanya merancang, tapi perancangan Allah adalah yang paling utama. Mereka bebas melakukan apa sahaja untuk menjatuhkan Anwar, tapi mereka juga harus sedar setiap hari satu persatu bukti dipertonontonkan kepada rakyat. Apa lagi yang mahu dilakukan sekarang. Kes liwat Saiful ini sepatutnya dibuang seperti "sampah" begitu sahaja dan tidak perlu dibawa ke mahkamah. Mana perginya laporan perubatan HKL seperti yang diperkatakan. Mereka menolak laporan Pusrawi dengan menuduh doktor yang merawat Saiful berbagai tohmahan. Kini jelas terbukti semua itu mengarut dan mereka semua sepatutnya insaf dan kembali ke pangkal jalan. Ditambah lagi dengan kitbaan bulan Ramadhan tidak lama lagi. Anwar berkali-kali sudah menyatakan beliau telah memaafkan semua manusia yang menzalimi beliau selama ini, termasuk Mahathir. Tetapi manusia-manusia ini masih tidak sedar dan rakus mencuba untuk menjatuhkan maruah beliau sekali lagi. Justeru itu, pastikan maklumat ini sampai kepada semua rakyat di Permatang Pauh. Jangan biatkan mereka terpengaruh dengan dahyah-dahyah manusia yang bertopengkan haiwan ini lagi.

Cara Saiful ikut lunas Islam

KUALA LUMPUR 18 Ogos – Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (Jawi), Datuk Che Mat Che Ali menjelaskan bahawa upacara sumpah laknat atau mubahalah yang dilakukan oleh Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan pada 15 Ogos lalu adalah mengikut lunas-lunas Islam.

Katanya, ucapan Wallahi, Wabillahi dan Watallahi cukup membuktikan bahawa seseorang itu bersumpah laknat, namun tindakan Mohd. Saiful memegang al-Quran semasa melakukannya adalah pilihan pemuda itu sendiri.

“Saya sebenarnya malas nak komen banyak sebab orang Melayu suka persoalkan perkara yang kadang-kadang mereka sendiri tidak tahu,” katanya ketika dihubungi Utusan Malaysia di sini hari ini.

Beliau menambah: “Yang penting, saya saksikan sendiri lafaz sumpah itu dan ia menepati syariat Islam. Mana-mana pihak yang ragu-ragu, saya malas nak komen, mungkin mereka lebih pandai.”
Che Mat mengulas tindakan beberapa pihak yang mendakwa sumpah Mohd. Saiful di Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, Jalan Duta di sini Jumaat lalu mirip amalan penganut Kristian yang memegang kitab Injil semasa melafazkan sumpah.

Mohd. Saiful, 23, yang merupakan bekas pembantu Penasihat Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim bersumpah laknat bagi membuktikan beliau benar-benar telah diliwat oleh pemimpin PKR itu.

Bagaimanapun, sesetengah pihak kemudian mempertikaikan sumpah itu dengan mendakwa ia tidak mengikut lunas Islam, tidak sah dan mirip amalan penganut agama Kristian.

Semalam, bapa Mohd. Saiful, Azlan Mohd. Lazim mempertahankan tindakan anaknya itu dengan berkata upacara itu dijalankan selepas mendapat nasihat daripada ulama.

Dalam perkembangan berkaitan, Che Mat menjelaskan, kehadirannya di Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan ketika Mohd. Saiful bersumpah pada Jumaat lalu bukan bagi menasihati Mohd. Saiful mengenai cara melafazkan sumpah yang betul.

Sebaliknya, kata beliau, kehadirannya adalah perlu sebagai ‘tuan rumah’ bagi memastikan unsur-unsur keganasan seperti insiden penyokong Anwar dan Mohd. Saiful merempuh pagar masjid tidak berlaku.-Utusan

On the 6th, 7th, and 12th August 2008, Raja Petra published the 3 defamatory articles on me with other commenters publishing their comments following the 3 defamatory articles. All of the commenters are equally guilty of defamation and various offences of vulgarities under the Penal Code.

The Raja Petra website is a controlled website, meaning it is a moderated website. He chooses through that system to publish or not any article or comment posted on the blog site. He is therefore a publisher of all the articles and comments posted on his blog site and is therefore guilty of publishing, accommodating and adopting the contents as his. He has committed the offences of defamation, sedition and other offences in the Penal Code and the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

Raja Petra does not practise an open blog site. He only publishes materials that support him. All other materials that are critical of him or condemn him are not published. He is not interested in an open debate for alternative views. His claim that his website is a source of independent news is total nonsense. Clearly this blogger is a coward and one that hides behind his blog ( and as you can see in court last Friday, one that hides behind his wife as well) Any so called “Royalty” (as Raja Petra claims himself to be) who indulges in publishing vulgar statements over and above being defamatory ought to be ashamed of himself as his behaviour evidenced in the blog site is that of a common “pariah”.

I am lodging a police report today for offences committed by Raja Petra which are as follows:

(a) Criminal Defamation;

(b) Sedition under the Sedition Act 1948;

(c) Offences under the Penal Code for vulgarities;

(d) Offences under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998; and

(e) Printing Presses and Publication Act 1984

The Order of the High Court has been officially served on him on the 15th of August 2008. But before this Raja Petra was aware of the contents of the Order dated 13th August 2008 as admitted by him in his article on the 14th itself. Under the law he should have obeyed the Order of Court counting from the 14th itself. I am monitoring closely if Raja Petra is complying with each and every order that the court has imposed against him. If he does not observe any of these orders, I will compel him to be produced in court for contempt of court. I will continue to do this for every contemptious act he commits and if the contempt continues I will make repeated applications for contempt against him. If the court of Appeal could find it sufficient to send Murray Hiebert, a bona fide journalist to jail in Malaysia, the crimes committed by Raja Petra would be far worse. Raja Petra is not a bona fide journalist or an independent news provider. He is truly a puppet of some political animal. Raja Petra’s website is a political propaganda website and Raja Petra is the chief puppet.

This year alone 2 successful defamation suits have been taken against Raja Petra. The cases are :

(a) Universiti Utara Malaysia & Vice Chancellor Tan Sri Dr Nordin Kardin v Raja Petra, where a defamation suit was taken against Raja Petra. Raja Petra never entered appearance nor defended the case. On 26th March 2008, Raja Petra was ordered to pay RM4 million as damages to the Plaintiffs. He has failed to pay the RM4 million. Raja Petra is a bankrupt and has been declared a bankrupt for quite sometime. As you know, an honourable bankrupt must defend his reputation about his credibility. Raja Petra never defended his credibility. He is not just a common bankrupt. He is also bankrupt of credibility and ideas.

(b) The case of Dato Seri Azim Zabidi v Raja Petra, a Kuala Lumpur High Court suit. Again judgment in default of appearance has been taken against him. The Plaintiff in that case has applied for damages to be assessed by the court. And the damages sum would soon be announced by the Court. Tell me why isn’t Raja Petra defending these suits? I suggest there is only one reason : he has no defence and he knows his stories are all propaganda and has no nexus to truth.

The above precedent cases show that:

(a) Raja Petra is a coward in not defending the defamation suits against him.

(b) If he claims he can justify the contents of all his writings, the public deserves to know the truth and he should not behave like a coward and not come to court and prove his case.

(c) I challenge him to consent to our case being expedited for trial so that the public will know the truth whether Raja Petra is a liar or not. The court is the best forum to adjudicate on the conflict. In fact, alternatively, if Raja Petra wants an independent arbitration on this matter, with independent arbitrators chosen by a joint consent between him and me, I will gladly accept it and challenge him to produce the proofs of his allegations.

We are concerned that Raja Petra thinks that being a bankrupt he does not have any obligations to law and society. This is perhaps the reason why he is so dishonest and reckless as to what he publishes. If he thinks he can hide behind his bankruptcy, he is dead wrong. So far the conduct of Raja Petra clearly shows that his sole motive is to do propaganda and truth was never his consideration at all.

For your information, I can conclusively show Raja Petra is a total liar I have independent evidence, both oral and documentary, that will show neither the office of Shafee & Co nor this conference room you are sitting in or the whiteboard you are looking at or I personally are involved in anything close to the allegation by Raja Petra that we are involved in a conspiracy relating to the case of the sodomy allegation by Saiful against Anwar Ibrahim. Raja Petra will have to show his so-called evidence. He bluffs by saying he has got 6 witnesses 3 of them are datuks apparently. And I urge him that if he has that evidence, he must quickly agree for an expedited trial of this matter as the public deserves nothing less than the truth. If Raja Petra is found to be lying to the public he must be stopped fast so that the public is not misled.

For your information, I have been away in Kuching and Terengganu for more than 6 weeks prior to Anwar Ibrahim being charged, I was away from the 28 June 2008 until 7th August 2008 continuously with one week in Kuala Terengganu (all of them related to my work in relation to 3 Election Petitions). How could I be in this room to mastermind the operation with the police.

Why should the police want to do a black operation in this room? Don’t you think a black operation by its nature is secretive ? Should such an operation be done in this open conference room ? That is the reason I say even a person with a pea-sized brain would not believe his story. Raja Petra is not a clever bluffer. I would love to cross-examine him in court and I would offer myself to be cross-examined by his team of lawyers if this is the only way truth can be revealed.

I will tell him to stop being the coward he is. Come out into the open, in the open court and fight me like a man and not to hide behind his web site or behind the skirt of his wife.

The morality of defection

Unless he was bribed, Dr Chandra Muzaffar must sincerely believe that his defection was virtuous. Let's grant him the benefit of the doubt. But what makes him think that he is the only person capable of virtuous defection?

Crossing over is too neutral. Let’s call it defection.

I have forgotten the exact date of Dr Chandra Muzaffar’s defection to the Barisan Nasional. He was a founding member of my party, yes, and deputy president too.

Was there any sweetener involved? Only God knows. He became a scholar again, and a BN public intellectual. For several years he was out of the limelight; for as long as he was a PKR leader, he was a bête noire to the BN media establishment.

He must have really missed the celebrity status. Now as the political scientist of the powers that be, he gives big-time interviews, and has regained his status as the expert commentator in the mainstream media and writes longish articles. He can speak the truth (all the time?), and this is the irony to the powerless.

I do not wish to repeat what has been said about him. Suffice for the reader to scan through the comments in this portal regarding his recent statement about Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's so-called obsession to become the next prime minister via the back door.

Unless he was bribed, Chandra must sincerely believe that his defection was virtuous. Let's grant him the benefit of the doubt. But what makes him think that he is the only person capable of virtuous defection?

Why deny the same adjective to 30, or even more, BN members of Parliament who wish to defect to the Pakatan Rakyat camp and thereby form a new government? Unlike our scholar whose defection could not be put to the test of the ballot box, these BN defectors and their wooers will have to face the wrath of voters in the next general election should their defection be later deemed wicked and villainous.

I really wish the BN had fielded him at Bandar Tun Razak, where he stood as the Keadilan candidate in 1999, against Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim on March 8. We would have seen the empirical result of his verbal peccadillo — Anwar as prime minister would be an unmitigated disaster for the country — on the eve of the political tsunami.

So our political doctor will continue, occasionally, to pontificate on behalf of the BN. With impunity? No, we shall hoist him on his own petard.

Why shouldn't BN MPs defect? And why can't their defection be as virtuous, if not greater, than Chandra's? They would not be betraying any friend who is languishing in prison, or destroying a movement for a just world, or the struggle for freedom and human dignity.

In any case, Chandra's defection has not resulted in the restoration of the independence of the judiciary (unless he has not seen the Lingam tape). Has he attempted to instil kesedaran, a movement he founded and drew many idealistic college students like me into activism three decades ago, into the A-G's office to put an end to selective prosecution and into the police top brass so there is no fabrication of evidence again?

Or does he still believe, like residual residents of a BN fool's paradise, that all top apparatchiks of Bukit Aman are angels? Has the economy improved since his defection? Or has he helped arrest the steep decline of our universities?

Suppose the voters remonstrate: "We voted you as the BN candidate, why now you join the PR?" What can these MPs reply? Any Baba or Dollah can reply, by asking rhetorically: "Didn't the BN government promise you all not to raise the price of petrol before the general election? They have reneged on their promise. Now all prices are going up. You still want me, your MP, to stick to the government that works against your interests?"

These are the cases for defection. The list can get longer as we put our little-used political imagination to work again. Why wait for four more years? The American slo-mo recession, to borrow the expression of Paul Krugman, has already begun to impact us.

We need to engineer an economic resurgence otherwise we all will suffer. The economy will contract and there will be more layoffs. Those who are working will see the value of their take-home ringgit shrinking.

The economy must be resurrected from the current stagnation. But first we need to restore confidence and hope. New confidence and hope can only come with new leadership. We need a Malaysian FDR.

So the defectors will not be pengkhianat after all. They are the penyelamat, the band of political white knights saving the country from the stagnation and slump. Those who still want to stay back will be on the wrong side of history.

Dato’ Muhammad Shafee Abdullah received his tertiary education at the Royal Military College. He received an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Malaya in 1977 and was a visiting Law Lecturer and Tutor at the University of Malaya from 1978 to 1980. He joined the Attorney-General’s Chambers in 1977 and was a Deputy Public Prosecutor and Federal Counsel in a number of departments of the Attorney-General’s Chambers. In 1984, he went to London to pursue his Post-Graduate studies at The London School of Economics and graduated with an LLM. When he was in London, he was attached to a number of Chambers, such as the Chambers of Blanco White QC, Mary Vitoria QC, Michael Fysh QC and Robin Jacob QC. In 1985 he was called to the Malaysian Bar and he set up his own practice under the name of Shafee & Co. He is a Member of the Human Rights Committee of the Bar Council and is also a Member of SUHAKAM. His main area of practice is in the area of human rights, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law and civil litigation. He has appeared in a number of landmark cases in the Malaysian Courts. He is active in the issues relating to the independence of the Malaysian Judiciary and the Bar.
